Layering Serums Technique

You can layer two serums by applying them in a specific order.

The general rule of thumb is to apply the thinnest consistency serum first, followed by the thicker one. In this case, you would apply our Homey Skin Hyaluronic Acid Serum first, followed by our Homey Skin 15% Vitamin C Serum.

The benefits of using both serums together is that they can help to address different skin concerns. Vitamin C is a powerful antioxidant that helps to even out skin tone, fade out dark patches and reduces hyperpigmentation, while also reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Hyaluronic acid, on the other hand, helps to hydrate and plump the skin, regulates sebum and minimises pore, also reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, providing an overall healthy-looking complexion.

Using both serums together can help to amplify their individual benefits, resulting in brighter, more even-toned, and hydrated skin. Just be sure to patch test each product first and start by using them every other day before gradually increasing frequency to daily use.

Let's take a look at what Ashleigh has to say about this technique…

“Omg your products are the best! I broke out into an allergic reaction from these other products like seen in pictures and my skin went all dry and lumpy and the skin colour was all uneven on the skin as seen in pictures.

Anyway, I needed something to hydrate it and saw the serums (hydration and brightener) on my shelf. Thought id give them ago to at least deal with the dry skin and colour.

I kid u not! They fully worked and I started seeing the results by the second day. Less than a week later the results speak for themselves. I thought my skin would be oily. But no it’s perfect and soft"
