At Homey Skin we use Encapsulated retinol which is a version of retinol that envelops the ingredient in a protective, multi-layer liquid crystalline microsphere protecting its integrity.

When applied to skin, its moisturising outer-coating time-releases the active Retinol, which penetrates deep to deliver superior results.

It creates an invisible protective shield on the skin’s surface, which helps reduce moisture loss.

Retinol speeds up skin renewal reducing the appearance of fine lines, age spots and wrinkles. It also helps to even out skin tone for firmer and smoother skin.

Retinol products should not be used when pregnant or breastfeeding. We recommend using once a week at first to see how your skin reacts. Then gradually work up to every other day or three times a week.

To be used in the evening only. Avoid exposure to UV and use sunscreen as retinol may increase sensitivity to sunlight. Please note that there may be some redness or irritation on initial use. Retinol products should not be used when pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not exfoliate or use facial scrubs for at least 72 hours after your treatment.
